A special offer was used by many participants of the German Neutron Scattering Conference (DN2024) at Aachen last week to visit the JULIC Neutron Platform at the Forschungszentrum Jülich and get first hand information on the HBS project. The visit included a detailed visit of the HBS target station, the instrument places and the workshops at the central workshops of the research center. The visit was a great experience for the participants and an informative outlook into the future of neutron sources in Germany and beyond.
